Cabin Fever (2023) is a four-photo series developed during a site visit to a shared family cabin in the Outaouais region of Québec. Using photographic practice to reflect on the cabin’s interior, the work explores the activities that unfold within the space and interrogates the kinds of bodies that perform various tasks in and around the “family cabin.” What bodies spend time within the cabin, and how might this presence-absence speak to the gendered dimensions of cabin dwelling?

This project was produced for the 2023 Architecture & Film Symposium: Intense Interiors and is now published in their biannual proceedings.
